If you'd like to permanently remove your Privacy Bee account, this article explains what you need to know before deleting and walks you through the steps.

### Before You Delete

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding, make sure you have considered the following:

* If you have an active paid license, deleting your account will end your protection and any in progress removal work.
* If you are within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, consider requesting a refund before deleting - see **Privacy Bee's Refund Policy and How to Request a Refund** for steps.
* Once your account is deleted, your removal history and profile data will no longer be accessible.

### How to Delete Your Account

* Log in to your Privacy Bee account
* From your left navigation bar, select **Account Settings**
* Click the **Account Security** tab
* Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red **Delete Account** button
* Click **Confirm** to permanently delete your account

### What if I Have an Incomplete Account?

If you entered your email address during a Free Scan Only signup but never completed the account setup, you may still be receiving emails from Privacy Bee. **To stop these emails,** you'll need to delete the account that was automatically created.
