How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your License

You can upgrade your Privacy Bee license at any time. Downgrades are available within specific timeframes. This article walks you through how both work and what to expect after making a change.


How to Upgrade Your License

  • From your left navigation bar, select Account Settings
  • Click the Billing tab
  • Click the three dot menu next to your name on the right side
  • Select Change License
  • Choose the license type and term you want to upgrade to
  • Check the confirmation box
  • Click the blue Purchase button to complete your upgrade

How Upgrade Pricing Works

You will never be charged twice for the same period. Here’s how the pricing adjustment works:

  • If you upgrade within the 30-day money-back guarantee period, the amount you’ve already paid is applied toward the new license
  • If you upgrade after the guarantee period, the unused portion of your current license is automatically calculated, prorated, and credited - you only pay the difference
  • No action is needed from you - the adjustment happens automatically during the upgrade process

What Happens After You Upgrade

Once your upgrade is complete:

  • Your new license level is applied to your account immediately
  • Your dashboard updates to reflect your new access and features
  • Any additional removal capabilities included in your new license become available right away
