Privacy Bee scans run automatically based on your license tier. This article explains how often scans occur for each plan, so you know what to expect.

### Scan Frequency by License

* **Free Scan Only Account** - One scan at account creation. No ongoing monitoring is included.
* **Essentials License** - Scans run once every 30 days starting from the date your account was created
* **Pro License** - Scans run once every 30 days, starting from the date your account was created
* **Signature Services License** - Scans run every 7 days starting from the date your account was created

### Why Does Scan Frequency Matter?

More frequent scans mean Privacy Bee can detect new exposures and re-exposures faster - and take action sooner. If your information reappears on a data broker site after being removed, Privacy Bee will detect it on the next scheduled scan and begin the removal process again automatically.

### Can I Trigger a Scan Manually?

If you need a specific removal prioritized before your next scheduled scan, you can message Orwell directly with the company name and URL. Our **support team** will help prioritize the request on your behalf.
